Mama Nature

Mama Nature cried last night

and I saw her flowers

bloom in the morning.

Her melanin was like

rays of sunshine after the rain.

Each petal

so bright

and so colorfully bold,

bees stopped by to get a taste of the sweet aromas that attracted them there.

Ancestors disguised as butterflies

consoled Mama

and reminded me of the lessons to be learned.

I cried last night,

and I discovered that

when you try to water flowers with tears...

weeds grow.

Thank you Mama for your lessons. 🌺
